Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua Set for December 11 in Cardiff for Vacant WBA Super Title

Official Confirmation and WBA Title Stakes
The heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has been officially confirmed for December 11 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, streaming live globally on Netflix. Following the cancellation of earlier plans to stage the event in New York, the World Boxing Association has placed its vacant 'Super' world heavyweight title on the line for the winner.
This title sanction arrives amid significant movement in the heavyweight division. Both Fury and Joshua were previously dethroned by Oleksandr Usyk in world title bouts, while Murat Gassiev currently holds the WBA regular heavyweight championship following his successful defense against Peter Kadiru in July.
Netflix Push for a Double Main Event
To build out the card in Wales, Netflix is exploring the addition of a major co-feature, aiming to stage an encounter between veteran multi-division champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated titlist Shakur Stevenson as part of a double main event.
However, this secondary clash remains unconfirmed. Neither Pacquiao nor Stevenson has received a formal bout agreement, with ongoing discussions still revolving around financial arrangements and an agreed weight limit.
