Daniel Dubois is due to defend his WBO heavyweight title against Fabio Wardley at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, 17 October 2026. Their second meeting has been announced as the night’s main event, so its outcome remains pending.

Their first fight took place in Manchester five months earlier. Wardley knocked Dubois down twice, but the Londoner turned the contest around and forced the stoppage in the 11th round.

The timing remains provisional

The exact start time for the main event has not been settled. The BBC says the official event time is still to be confirmed and expects the ring walks to take place after 10.30pm BST.

The belt changed hands in their first meeting: Wardley entered as WBO champion but lost the title to Dubois in May. The rematch therefore gives Wardley an opportunity to regain it, while Dubois enters as the reigning champion.
