Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua Confirmed for 11 December 2026 in Cardiff on Netflix

Official Confirmation of the Cardiff Showdown

The heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is officially set for Friday, 11 December 2026 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Broadcast live worldwide on Netflix, the all-British showdown brings together two of the division's standout names following years of anticipation and finalized contractual agreements.

Organizers are planning a late start for the main event to accommodate international broadcast schedules, particularly for prime-time audiences in the United States. As a result, the fighters' ring walks are anticipated after midnight UK time, placing the bout in the early hours of Saturday morning for domestic spectators.

Resolution of the Prolonged Venue Dispute

The Cardiff announcement concludes an extended venue dispute after both fighters signed bout contracts earlier in the year. Joshua's camp maintained that the clash should take place in the United Kingdom, whereas promoters and broadcast partners explored Madison Square Garden in New York. During the protracted talks, Fury had publicly suggested he might pursue a third fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

The path to the December showdown was cleared following interim victories for both competitors in July. Joshua stopped Kristian Prenga in the second round after surviving two first-round knockdowns, while Fury secured a seventh-round stoppage victory over Mariusz Wach in Thailand.
