Farewell Victory at Croke Park

In Dublin, Katie Taylor fought the final bout of her professional career at Croke Park in front of approximately 80,000 spectators. Facing French challenger Flora Pili, the Irish fighter secured a unanimous decision victory with judges' scorecards reading 100-90, 100-90, and 98-91 after ten rounds.

This victory allowed Katie Taylor to claim the vacant WBC belt alongside her WBA, IBF, and WBO super lightweight titles. She therefore finishes her sporting journey as the undisputed champion of the division.

Fight Dynamics and Resistance

Despite Taylor's overall control throughout the contest, Flora Pili enjoyed her best spell in the seventh round with a sharp combination. However, this flurry did not alter the momentum of the fight, which Taylor dominated through to the final bell.
